2:30 Party, meal expected?

We are having DD's birthday party at 2:30pm at a local gymnastics place (planning way ahead, since I am pregnant and due a few weeks before her bday)

We chose 2:30 - 4:30 for the party time, and planned to just do cake/icecream and maybe fruit salad and veggies.

Does that seem sufficient?  Would you expect some kind of meal at that time?  I was thinking not, but just want to double check.

We did my son's second birthday at his gymnastics place from 3-5. We did not serve a meal. I had some different snacks set up and cupcakes. It was plenty. I would not expect a meal at an off time like that.
