Hey everyone this is my first pregnancy and first baby. We have made it to the almost halfway point with a healthy baby as far as they can tell. At 19 weeks I had my ultrasound to check out babys organs and she is 10.8 ounces and 6.5 inches long! Wondering if there are other moms that have not been able to feel babys movements, I feel like I am the only one that hasnt yet people have been telling me I will feel them for a month now
I saw her doing flips and kicks on the ultrasound I wonder if I am just not in tune with my body enough to feel her.. the midwife said my placenta may be in front of the baby and that could explain it. has anyone else experienced this?
Re: 19 Weeks 5days no kick or baby movement
Going through the same thing. I am currently 19 weeks and 1 day. I have felt flutters here and there but nothing major yet. This is my 3rd baby. With my 1st, I didnt really feel her much either. She was a quiet baby. Then my 2nd was like a kung fu master. And then as I mentioned above, this is my 3rd baby, and I havent felt him much at all but, the nurse that did my ultrasound said that the placenta was in front as well as the baby facing towards my back, so that's probably why I dont feel him much right now. Give it some time and before you know it, you will be feeling all sorts of movement.
Best of luck!
It's my first pregnancy so I don't know what I should be feeling.
Wks and 3 days pregnant with my 2nd baby and I can feel him/her kicking up a storm, but when I was pregnant with my DD I didn't feel kicking until my 23rd or 24th week!! :
It felt like it took forever!! Many people told me that with the first one it takes longer for you to feel because its ur first and you don't know what a baby kick "feels" like. A kick is a kick, so hopefully you will feel one soon! Good luck!!
This should be interesting!
My best friend and I are both pregnant. I am about 145 lbs and 5'7''. She is 5'3'' (maybe) and about 103 lbs. She felt her little girl moving during week 17!! I still haven't, at least not that I am totally sure of. Both my husband and I are disappointed, but trying to remember that as long about our little one is growing, we will feel it. And as my sister, who has had four kids, told me, soon enough you'll wish he or she would stop kicking so you can sleep.
Babies do it on their own time. Enjoy the whole journey!
