Very light spotting

For the past couple of days I have had very light (pale pink) spotting but only when I wipe.  I've read that this is fairly common.  I'm nervous because I am 40. 

Anyone else experience this?  If so, did it turn out ok?

Pregnant...approx. 9 weeks.  I have googled (bad idea) and see that it's "typical" and not cause for immediate alarm.  I did call dr's office and they said if it gets worse, go to ER.

FWIW, I had spotting in the first 4-6 weeks of my pregnancy. It's totally normal. FX for you!
