I'm trying to do 30 days of clean eating. Except with coffee. I am on day 3.
It is SO HARD. I am eating tons of fruit and veggies but I am STARVING. If he wasn't so valuable, I would eat my coworker. With sugar, glorious sugar.
I kinda feel like crap too. I'm withdrawing. I feel all weird and shaky sometimes like when I had GD and my blood sugar was off. Is this normal? I did some yoga to try and calm my poor body down.
Re: Clean Eating
Is it normal???
Do you mean being shaky or trying to give up sugar?? If you mean being shaky, I have no idea. If you mean trying to give up sugar, I would say no -- its definitely not normal.
Hope that helps
All of this! I'd also die! Good for you!
I just started eating Paleo last Monday. So I'm having lots and lots of veggies, a moderate amount of meat and eggs, and some fruit. Occasionally nuts. I'm also keeping a cup of coffee a day too, but with just a tiny bit of cream. The first 3 days were really really hard. After that it got a lot easier. I already feel much better, get and stay full easier, and lost 3.5 pounds. It's tough, but if you stick with it it does get better.
Obivously you're eating but are you eating enough? Are there some clean snacks you could have when you start to get weak and shaky.

This is my concern too that you may be cutting out too much and your blood sugar has tanked. You may need to modify it so it doesn't inadvertently cause other health effects. Good luck to you and keep us updated.
My non-medical opinion would be that the shakes and everything is relatively normal. If your body was used to the sweets and processed stuff, taking it away rather suddenly would have an impact, which is why you are shaky and feel weird.
Keep in mind that I'm eating a Kit Kat as I type this, so my advice isn't worth much in this case.
this exactly. I've been doing the paleo thing since mid December, and the first week was the hardest. It got much easier, though, and I'm down 15 pounds. I eat tons of veggies, and some meat and fruit at every meal, and I feel better than i've felt in years. Good luck!
Thanks guys! I am eating constantly, so I'm not worried about lack of nutrients or calories. I figure if WW says fruits and veggies are free, then so do I.
It's not really a cleanse, more like a challenge. Just trying to cut out the processed junk. Sugar is my weakness, but I have been bingeing and it needs to stop. I have noticed a lot of energy today so there's hope!
