We had a busy day filled with drs appointments and have been going nonstop. DS still has an ear infection and his allergist was a jerk about it. Sorry my kid isn't reacting to the amoxicillin that his pedi prescribed. Not my fault but way to make it feel that way.
C has been a little Tasmanian devil ever since his fever broke last weekend. He won't listen and throws tantrums non stop. He won't take his inhaler and it makes me feel like a bad mom.
My teacher for one of my classes apparently is making up her own grading policies without posting it in the syllabus or class policies and its driving me crazy. It's only a few points off but I should have a 100 in the class when I don't. Grr.
I'm tired, cranky and trying to not loose my shiit. Thank goodness for pizza for dinner and leftover cake for later.
Re: I'm over today.
I think it is in the conduct code, for allergist to be asswipes. Allie's two allergist are both jerks. I can also feel your pain on a hyper active nonlistenting fever-free child. I think it is the cabin fever creeping in. We went to Michael's to break up the craziness.
Did you get any answers from the allergist?
He said that C definitely has asthma and its most likely being triggered this time by the infection. And he can't start really treating the asthma until the infection is gone. So he upped his qvar to a higher dose, gave me a new abuterol inhaler that's not supposed to make him as hyper (which is the one he won't take now) and we're going back on Monday to see how his ear is doing.
He's German and speaks very fast and directly with very little bedside manner. Since this is all so new to me I need everything explained twice and that's just not happening. So I feel like an idiot that can't take care of my kid. Ugh.
We have a follow up visit on Monday so if the infection is still there we'll get a new antibiotic.
He has no fever and his ear doesn't seem to be bothering him so I figured the infection was getting better. The only indication he's sick is this darn cough.
