Radian RXT, Recaro ProRide, Maxi Cosi Pria 70

My biggest concern between these three brands are does your child sweat in it? My daughter's back is soaked with sweat when she is in her infant car seat. (She is not a heavy sweater). I will be moving back to Hawaii where it's warm year around so a convertible car seat that will keep her cool is an important feature.

I'd love any feedback on your child's experience regarding sweating with the Radian RXT, Recaro ProRide and Maxi Cosi Pria 70. Thanks!

  • We have the Maxi cosi Pria and love it! I live in KY so its not super hot but it does get fairly hot in the summer.  No sweating issues in our all black carseat in my black car.  One the main reasons I like this carseat so much now is that DD has so much more leg room than she does in her Britax marathon (which is in DH's Car).

  • My son is a sweaty child- this is one reason why we bought the Recaro Proride. The Proride has a mesh panel that allows air flow.

  • DS would get out of his chicco Keyfit soaked but it hasn't been a problem since we started using the Recaro proride.
