I've been lurking over here, but finally feel (sort of, kind of) ready to introduce myself!
DH and I have a 3.5 yr old DD who we adore. We started TTC #2 in June of 2011. After 4 early losses, we moved on to IVF at the recommendation of 2 RE's. We only had 2 embies to transfer at 3dpt, and put them both in. We saw two sacs at our first u/s, and 3 heartbeats at our next one - one of the sacs split into two. So, we've got a set of indenticals and a singleton growing in there.
We had a third u/s today which showed apporpriate growth and heartbeats - singleton measuring 7w4d with a heart rate of 156 and the id's both measuring 7w1d with heart rates of 132 and 135.
This is still all very surreal to us. We were totally prepared to have twins, but somehow the thought of triplets is freaking us out. And on the other hand, I'm still scared I could miscarry and lose any or all of them.
Glad to have this board though, and I'm excited that I saw a few triplet intros over the past few days!
ETA: My EDD is 10/15, but I'm assuming these will be September (maybe Auguest?) babies.

My blog * We made the national news!
We found out around the same time you did though we were only expecting one baby... No IVF or family multiples and I still can't believe we're having THREE! But I'm much more excited now then I was the first 12 weeks when I was just scared....
Good luck!!!
What a blessing! Congrats and welcome! You're expecting what my OB called a pair and a spare.
In my time on the board I've seen triplets born at a really broad range of gestation. When they come will be based on a lot of different things. We just had a MoM deliver her triplets last week at 36 weeks (I think) so it's totally doable! Let's hope for beautiful little September babies for you. We'll do what we can to help you have as many tools as possible to keep your babies cooking for as long as possible. I highly recommend reading the FAQ on the main page. Unfortunately the fear of losing one or all of them is something that you are possibly stuck with, at least for now. As a MoM with multiple losses I'm sure your brain must be in overdrive and I'm sorry for that. You can and WILL have three beautiful babies because right now you are pregnant and you're going to stay that way. A real blessing about expecting multiples is that you will get SO many opportunities for ultrasounds etc and I know that for me every time I got to see them moving around it helped me feel better. Just wait until you can SEE them moving around and fighting for space. It's amazing. Please post a lot of questions, we're all here to help you through this amazing journey. CONGRATS!
