Then doctor wants us to elevate the head of her crib because of the congestion. I bought a wedge that goes under the sheet but when we use it LO eventually ends up rolling over and all slumped over. I have tried towels under the mattress etc. But the same things happens. Last night I found her at the bottom of the crib wedged up against the railing. So how do I keep this from happening? Everything I do is causing her be sleeping in a sort of seated position and that is why she is slumping and rolling. Can I actually lift the legs of the crib?
Re: Elevating the crib
The wedge works better if you put it under the MATTRESS, not just the sheet.
I roll up two blankets and put them on either side of LO, like wedged in tight up against her, which helps a lot. You can also roll one bigger blanket or towel and make it into a U shape and lay LO inside of it so the blanket goes on either side and under the butt. She still creeps down a little and sometimes shifts to the side a bit but its minor. She remains in the same general area that I left her all night....and she wakes up a million times so its not like shes sound asleep and unmoving.
