I read your post below and had a thought.  It sounds similar to something I had a few months ago which was diagnosed as eczema.  (Yes, I was so miserable that I went to the doctor!)  I used hydocortisone cream for a about a week, and it cleared right up.  I've never had eczema before and have not had any issues since.  Good luck!!

That's an interesting point because I've recently developed eczema under my eyes.  I might try the hydrocortisone and see if that helps.  I never even thought of that, thank you!  I've never had eczena before either, this is all new to me!
