What sling/carrier does your DC like?

I have the Moby, the Infantino carrier, and the Baby Bjorn.  So far, we have only been mildly successful with the Moby.  Everyone RAVES about it, but I don't think Maya likes being that constricted.  She fights being in there most of the time.

The Infantino is a piece of crap.  Thank god it wasn't expensive.

Tomorrow we are going to try the Bjorn.  We'll see how it goes.

Anyone have anything else to recommend?  What does your LO like?

we liked the Bjorn from the beginning. then when she wanted to be hip carried we now use the Hot Sling (you can get it at target) but she always looked squished and uncomfortable in it before she had head/neck/back control.

I just ordered the peanut shell. I'll let you know how he likes it. I've heard great things about it.

The only one that we have tried so far is our BabyHawk Mei Tai carrier & he LOVES it.  He gets to be all snuggled up on my chest in his favorite position.

I have the Moby and Baby Bjorn.  I could never figure out the Moby so I barely used it.  DD only tolerated the Baby Bjorn in the beginning so I only used it occassionaly.  Once she could be in it forward facing though she loved it and we used it a lot

Anderson hated the Peanut Shell.  He LOVES the Bjorn, so maybe you'll have luck with it too!  It's made my life so much easier- he loves to be held and this allows me to get something done AND hold him!

Allison loves to be in the Moby wrap.  I don't know how much of a help that is, but I haven't tried anything else with her yet!

I have an ergo carrier and DD and I both love it!

We like the Maya ring sling.  It's great because you can carry them cradle style while they are still little, but once they get to be older (like DS's age) you can do the kangaroo carry so he can be peeking out.  We also tried the infantino (agree, no good!) and the peanut shell.  The Maya is the best!

We have the bjorn and the peanut shell.  I could never get the peanut shell to work that well - dd liked it sometimes.  The bjorn we have used a ton and now she faces out in it which she loves.  It has the back support so it is so easy for me to use it for long periods of time with no problem.

My babe likes the Bjorn. We have the Hotsling, but I've never been able to figure it out, so we haven't used it yet.

I've tried our mei tai too, but it's a little more complicated.  I think I'll use it more when DD is bigger & stronger.
