SAIF book clubbers....

How's it going?  Loving HG?  Hating it?  Addicted like a crack fiend and already thru the other 2 books?

A quick reminder that our discussion for Hunger Games is scheduled for Wednesday 10/19.  

I have to work that day so I'm gonna have to post in the AM and run but I'll revisit (and post a link) with the night time ladies.

I think in order to be respectful to the board and not junk it up with a whole day full of NSAIF posts we ought to try to either:

1.  Limit it to one or 2 posts and just make them BIG long ones

or

2.  Find some site somewhere else to make multiple posts about the book so each discussion topic has it's own thread.   I'm at a total loss as to where this random internet place might be so if anyone has any suggestions please share.  My suspicion is that the bump gods won't be too thrilled with a request for our own page but you never know so maybe a sub-board for SAIF request? 

 

 

So if we default to option #1 I'm just going to post a list of questions to start us off and I'm sure others will pose additional questions as the thread grows.

If there's anything you'd like posted in the original discussion questions post please feel free to e-mail them to me and I'll make sure they're on the list!

I posted last week about how surprised I was about how much I was liking HG.  I have now finished the whole trilogy!  It was too suspenseful...I had to know what happened so needless to say, I had some late nights reading.  

 

Unfortunately, I won't be able to participate in the 'discussion' next week b/c I'm traveling on Wed so I don't think I'll get online much although I'm definitely curious to read the thread(s).

I'd already posted last week about how much I loved it. 

I'm too cheap to buy the other two books, but I'm dying to read it.  I'm on the waitlist for the library, hopefully they will come soon!!

I'm definitely loving the books. As soon as I finished the first book, I downloaded the other two on my Kindle! I'm almost done with the second book, and anxious to start the 3rd. Maybe those of us who have read the whole trilogy can discuss the other 2 books in a separate post (so as to not spoil it for others who haven't read them yet)? Can't wait to see how they do with the movie next year, too!
