My husband's concern is that Kate is becoming too popular with Princess Kate. He doesn't want her to be one of five in her class. My concern with Kate is people calling her Katie, which is not what I want her name to be. PS-I know I can't control the nicknames.
We are having a hard time figuring out our unique choice "Gwynn" with our classic choice "Kate." Has anyone gone with a more classic choice then regretted it?
Re: Girl Names opinions
Kate.
Just so you know, Behind The Name has Gwynn listed as a Welsh boy name.
ETA: If it was Gwen vs. Kate I would pick Gwen.

Kate.
Gwynn looks made up, and I know it's just a MN but no one will ever pronounce Rein as Ryan. Never, ever.
