1st Trimester

disappearance of pregnancy symptoms at 7 weeks

I'm 7w2d and very concerned with the lack of symptoms I'm feeling. About 2 weeks ago my breasts were very tender and tight and full. They seem to be less full now and I no longer feel the twinges of pains that I used to. They're no longer tender to the touch. I realize I'm very early in my pregnancy but, since I've started feeling symptoms, I naturally expect to continue to feel them - or even have more intense symptoms.

I've had 2 succesful pregnancies and 2 miscarriages. Each pregnancy has been so different. I've never experienced ms or food cravings. I'm no more tired than any other day. The breast tenderness is the only sign I ever get and, frankly, I don't remember the sensation disappearing this early on.

My first comprehensive dr's visit isn't until 4/13. The waiting part is torture. I called the office today to see if I could get in earlier and they couldn't reschedule the visit. They're overbooked as it is and, without cramps, spotting or pain, there is no reason to suspect anything is wrong.

Has anyone else experienced this?

  • Around 7 weeks my breast tenderness stopped and now my boobs are just bigger.  Its completely normal for symptoms to come and go the come back again.
  • my symptoms have come and gone.  If you're really concerned call your ob, they migth be able to calm your fears

  • my morning (all day) sickness was BAD from 5 1/2 weeks to like 9 weeks. all of a sudden i felt 80% better. my boobs are a little sore, but not as sore as others have been talking about.

i go to the doctor in a week and the suspense is killing me.

sometimes i actually feel so good it scares me.

  • Mine did too this week. Last week I was queasy a lot and didn't know if I could finish my food or I felt like I would throw up right after I ate. (I didn't.)
This week I haven't felt funny at all....just tired. Boobs are still bigger and sore but thats it.

I don't have another appointment until the 28th when we'll hopefully hear the heartbeat on the doppler.

Everyone is different and symptoms will come and go. I'm enjoying it while I can. :-)

  • My symptoms went away at 7w 3d, both m/s and breast tenderness, and did not return until yesterday when I hit 10 weeks.  I was very paranoid but I went to the dr at 9 weeks and the baby looked good on the u/s and had a strong hearbeat.  I know it's eaiser said then done, but try not to worry, I'm sure everything is great with your baby.  And enjoy your time symptom free :)

  • I had symptoms during week 4 (breast tenderness) and week 8 (a bit of m/s) only.

Enjoy your sympton-free days!  Who knows if/when it may change.

  • Thanks ladies. This is such a relief! I was so freaked out by having my symptoms disappear earlier this week I took another pregnancy test just to confirm once again to myself that I was still pregnant! I'm glad to know that it's normal for it to come and go.
