Anyone else delivering at LICH and worried about the possible closing?
My doctors are phenomenal. I'm high risk, and really don't care to travel out of Brooklyn, when such great care is right here in my borough. Downstate Hospital wants to close LICH and I'm wondering if anyone else heard anything. If they do, where will the patients deliver? What about the babies there in NICU? I find it disgusting that they want to close a hospital with great doctors, nurses that have real bedside manner, and aren't asking us how we (the patients) feel or informing us of the process.
