When to start testing

I am interested on knowing the earliest you have tested and seen a positive pregnancey test?

 I know it says "6 days before your missed period" but should I just wait for my missed period?

It has been part of my research that everyone experiences something different. Everyone's body is different. My doctor suggested we wait until AFTER the missed period. Everyone is different though...

Our positive test was 12 days past iui/ovulation.

My positive was 11 days past ovulation, which was the soonest I tested.

My positive was on 12 dpo/ 11 dpiui. I didn't test before then.

I was bad the month I got my BFP lol. I got a positive 9 DPO.

I got a BFN on 10DPO, and then a BFP on 12 DPO.

If you're still temp charting through your leuteal phase, you might have some success in watching for an implantation dip/surge pattern and then testing.

thank you for answer that question because I wanted to know the same thing as well. I just had my first IUI today and I go back tomorrow for round 2 and I know waiting is going to drive me crazy I brought pregnancy test that can tell you 5 days before you period. So, I hope to know something by the begin of march. My two week waiting period starts this thrusday which means I should get a period on or by the first but, if not I can test on march 7. So ladies when should I test?

I was horrible at testing. I always told myself I would not take any tests until at least 14dpiui.  But I always failed!  The cycle with the twins I tested out my trigger shot but I never got a negative test.  I think the line started to get darker around10dpiui.  My hcg level was through the roof at 425 14dpiui though so I am sure without a trigger I would have still tested positive really early.
