Used to be a daily runner, now 11 weeks prego. Since pregnancy, haven't felt like runni or exercising at all. LCD weather, nausea and fatigue are destroying me. Any tips on how to get back in the swing of things?
Although it will be difficult, treat it like any other commitment you have. Put it on your calendar and make yourself go. I suffered from morning sickness my 1st tri and part of my second (and it comes and goes now) and the only time I didn't feel nauseous was during my workouts (esp. during the first tri).
Now that I'm in the homestretch, I feel the way you do, but writing it down makes me feel obligated to go. Oh, and the thought that it will be easier to resume my workouts and get back in shape more quickly is a huge motivation for me.
I am almost 37 weeks with my second. With both pregnancies I felt so miserable the first trimesters that I just gave myself a break. I did pay for it because I was a little out of shape when attempting to work out the start of my second trimester, but I stuck with it. My first pregancy I gained more weight and was less active. This pregnancy I have pushed myself to work out; although now it is basically walking 3-4 times a week ( I ran until 34 weeks). I am happy I pushed through it because the post partum is not going to seem overwhelming. Give yourself a break now, first trimester is exhausting and it does get better!
Me either! My 2 yo is in the preschool program at the YMCA, so I have no choice but to exercise while she's there. I'd feel super lazy if I sat around for an hour and a half at the gym.
Is there anyone that you can exercise with? A class you could sign up for at the gym or rec center? I find that I'm more likely to go if I have someone waiting for me or if I've paid for/committed to a class.

Good luck.
