Lo Loestrin Fe question

I started taking Lo Loestrin about a month and a half ago. I have had 2 breakthrough bleedings, the first lasting about 2 weeks and the second just started yesterday. I am also very hungry all of the time!! I feel like I can't stop eating. Has anyone else had problems while on this pill?

You took the words right out of my mouth.  I have been taking this since end of November and I am constantly bleeding.  I never know if it is a real period or breakthrough bleeding.  I called my doctor and he said it takes 3-6 moths for things to regulate.  I don't think I can take anymore of it.  I have also gained 15 of othe 50 lbs I lost after my c-section on october 24, 2012.  I am going to finish out the packet I just started since I don't want to ever get pregnant again and then I am going to ask for something else.  I loved the Beyaz when I was on it.

the breakthrough bleeding is super common on that type, because it is a low dose pill. Also with that type(since its low dose) its important that you take the pill close to the same time everyday. It will take about 3 cycles to get on a regulated pattern and not have the breakthough bleeding.

I had awful headaches on it. I went back to my Yaz which I love.

Yes! I got so annoyed with the bleeding that I called and switched to Yaz. I was on Yasmin for years before getting pregnant and I LOVED it...no problems whatsoever. My doc said the Yaz should be about the same for me.

I've been having the same issue I think. I can't tell if its breakthru or if its a light period. I didn't call my dr cause I figure she'll say I have to give my body time to regulate. however, I had the office call my script in to my pharmacy (I've had samples) and the pharmacy called me today saying this pill will cost me $85! I said no thanks! they contacted my dr to get some form or to change my pill. id be happy going back to my old ortho lo.
