BFP January Polar Bears - # transferred (PG mentioned)

I saw so many BFPs in January, which is very encouraging!!!

I was curious if you guys would share how many you transferred (and if you know, how many you are pregnant with)?

DH and I are going to transfer 2 next FET (the last 3 we have transfered one).  Just curious about what everyone else has experienced.

My TTC Journey:
Dx: Hypothalamic amenorrhea / mild PCOS (Pretty much a hormone/ovulatory disorder)
Progesterone to induce period w/ the goal of Clomid - never got period (September 2011). Referred to RE.
Femera - never responded to the meds (December 2011)
Clomid with TI - BFN (February 2012)
Injectables (Menopur) - hyperstimulated/canceled (March 2012)
Injectables #2 (Menopur) with TI- BFN (May 2012)
IVF - OHSS (transfer canceled), but 11 frozen! (June 1012)
FET - 1 transferred on 8/09/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 350.3; Beta#2: 365; Beta#3: 157. Biochemical pregnancy.
FET # 2 - 1 transferred on 11/01/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 337; Beta#2: 769. BFP!!! 1st ultrasound 11/28/12 showed heartbeat, but measuring 5 days behind. 2nd ultrasound 12/05/12 - miscarriage.
FET # 3 - 1 transferred on 1/24/13. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): BFN.
FET # 4 - 2 transferred on 3/21/13.  Bet #1 (11dp5dt): 660; Beta#2: 1,300.  Miscarried at home @ 6 weeks.

FET # 5 - 2 transferred on 7/12/13.  Beta #1 (10dp6dt): BFN.
Attempted an IUI in late August 2013, but didn't respond well.
IVF #2 with PGS - Stims started 10/28 with retrieval on 11/11.  Of 14 mature eggs, 10 fertilized, 4 made it to Day 5 & 1 made it to Day 6. We did PGS on the Day 5 embryos, and 3 of 4 were normal. Had ET on 11/17. Beta #1 (8dp6dt): 203. Beta #2 (10dp6dt): 618. We since had two ultrasounds & on 12/19, our RE released us to the OB.  On 1/02/14, we had our first ultrasound with the OB where we heard the heartbeat.  We are so thankful for the blessing & crossing every finger & toe for a healthy & successful pregnancy.

    I'm curious about this too!

We put in 2, our rationale was if both took, we could handle (we think) twins but more than that scared us so we didn't go there.

    Ticker....

We put back 1 because of the grading. It was a perfect hatching blastocyst and we were wary of having twins due to the risks on me and the babies. We have 2 frosties waiting and when we do a FET in the future we will put both back because they'll unfreeze both of them at the same time.

I'm assuming I'm pregnant with one, but my u/s isn't until next week.

I also asked this question on PAIF before I did my transfer as well and that helped our decision to do a SET.

    Good Luck!!

We could only do a single embryo transfer (SET) due to my small uterus and I am getting BFP with FRER. Beta tomorrow and another on Friday!

    Good luck to you!!

We transferred 2 and definitely saw 1 on the US yesterday, but they saw a   "2nd area of interest" also. It was too soon to tell if there are 2.

We transferred 2 because our RE said it would make our chances higher of at least one sticking. And I am pregnant now :-) but not sure if it is one or two until my ultrasound on Thursday. IVF is just so expensive if I had better chances with 2 embryos it was no question to us and we are blessed with whatever God sends us. :-))

We put back two for the same reason as Hoping. Likely this will be our only pregnancy so we were okay with having twins if that's what God thinks we can handle.

    ***Ticker Warning***

We transferred one 5d blast.  The blast looked good, I am under 35, and the doctor felt that we had a really good chance at getting pregnant.  In addition, DH and I were not 100% comfortable with twins.

I am currently pg with one.

We put back two and at my first u/s we had 2 sacs. My RE is having a hard time seeing the 2nd sac completely because of the shape of my uterus and the placement of both the sacs. We know that we have 1 for sure and possibly 2 but more likely a vanishing twin.

We had two transferred.  I won't know for another week or two as to whether or not we will have twins.  My high betas (274/876) are showing that both may have implanted.  Also being 38 yrs old, this might be my first and last pregnancy so we figured we would go all out! :)

This was sort of my thinking for doing 2 also - my doctor is a bit concerned about my uterus being able to handle twins because of my fibroid surgery last year, but she didn't argue with 2 so . . . . . I still kinda hope only one takes but if it's 2, we'll work through it I guess. It would be scary, but I guess it would be scary for anyone!

We transferred two but my u/s is not until 2/19 so we don't know if both implanted. With DOR we planned on doing two all along. We ended up with much better quality embryos than we thought we would get, so for about a minute, we discussed only putting one back since I am under 35. But ultimately my DH, RE and myself decided on two. We would rather two than none. I would have hated to do IVF only put back one and not get a BFP.

    **ticker warning**

We transferred 1 perfect looking 5-day blasto. My RE gave us the option to do 2 but said my chances of twins was pretty high and that freaked DH right out. So his rationality won out and we just did the one.

I guess I don't KNOW for sure that there's only one in there, but that's what I'm assuming. U/S isn't until the 25th though.
