What soap do you use for bottles?

Sorry to be a PW, but this is why I came to 0-3 Mo. tonight

I was wondering about this as I was washing bottles tonight. I use just a dash of Dawn soap with the brush 2-3 times before I wash them in the dishwasher. What do you ladies use and about how often?

I just hand wash all my bottles with Dawn and let them air dry on the counter. You are a lot more dedicated to de-germing them than I am haha.

My SIL uses baby soap, the same stuff she washes baby with.

I use the Palmolive I use for everything else with a bottle brush and they dry in a drying rack. Once in awhile I toss them in dishwasher

I found Palmolive Ultra for baby bottles at Walmart. It wasn't anymore expensive than the rest of the dish soap so I bought that. I like it. I use it on my pumping supplies and after DD drinks her bottles. I don't wash them before I put them in the dishwasher each night.

Dawn pure. I don't think you need to wash them before putting them in the dishwasher...

I too just hand wash the bottles quick at the end of the day and then every two or three days I use those Medela bags to sterlize them. I haven't put them in the dishwasher yet.

Hand wash with whatever I have, and then steam them in the medela bag in the microwave. I wash my pump parts the same way.

I wash them with Dawn soap with a bottle brush then put them in the bottle sterilizer I got as a shower gift and couldn't return. I have to admit...I wouldn't have purchased it for myself, but its pretty handy! I sterilize them after every use. I'm kind of a germaphobe (sp) though.

I only washed bottles w/ unscented soap. I had to wash with a lemon soap one time and it made my bottles smell like that fake lemony scent. It weirded me out that whatever that chemical was was now also in DD's food.

We use glass bottles (consider it might be a bad idea to put plastic in the dishwasher)  and I only wash them by hand.

I use the Babyganics foaming dish soap and I wash them after each use.

I just toss mine in the dishwasher or hand wash with dawn soap and put in a dr browns steamer bag.

I use Dapple, I LOVE the smell and its specifically designed to remove the smell of formula. I use Dawn when I run out though and toss in the dishwasher once or twice a week.

This, I've never used a soap on her bottles, just very hot water.

I use my regular dish soap la Cucina. I either wash them in super hot, soapy water or just load them in the dishwasher.

Sometimes I'll boil them if I'm already doing my pump parts.

I use Dawn if I'm handwashing, but I also use a microwave sterilizer (if I have time, I almost always forget about it in the microwave haha) and normally I rinse them out and then toss in the dishwasher.  Whatever bottles got used during the day end up in the dishwasher every night

seventh generation free and clear, much better than dawn because it dosent have any bad chemicals or bleach or anything harmful to the baby in it and we hand wash, air dry and boil every other day or so.

I really like the Dapple brand of cleanser. It's non-toxic, gets rid of any residual smell and film.

I use seventh generation dish soap.
