The girls.are.9weeks.today, but.it.is.also.their.edd. They have woken up.a bit this week. They have been.home.for.three weeks. Also.this.week.we have finally.transitioned to.breastfeeding exclusively (no.more bottles.of.ebm!!). During.the day they are.reasonably.pleasant when.awake, but come.7pm.ish it.is.all.downhill for the next twelve hours or so. During.the day tbey will nap and.sleep.whereever, but at night they will.not.stay asleep.unless they are.being held. Itndoean't matter how.long they are.sleeping.for.prior.to.going.down, they.instantly wake.up.and.scream. not.hungry, not.wet...juat plain.old.pissed.off. if.it.were.something i.were eating, wouldn't they be screaming during the day.too? Daytime is.fine. i say "they" but they seem to alternate nights as.to.who the.dominant fussy.one/sleep.refuser.is. i.can't sleep.when.they do.during the day b/c i have two other kids(age 6 and 22.months).
My.other kids.were easy babies. I don't know.why this.is happening.or wht to do.about it
Re: nighttime.grumps
So yeah I don't really know what advice to give besides "hang in there!" If they are really inconsolable it could be diet related and something to ask the pedi about....but other than that, at least know you're not alone. GL!
