what is keeping my pgal brain at bay.....

So this morning I've realized what is keeping me from going crazy.....

I have poas every morning since my positive on Monday. I am happy when I see the line has gotten darker and it reminds me I'm pregnant and happy and then I feel OK...

But I know this isn't good, one day it will stop getting darker, or look lighter and I will freak...I need to stop, but my first appt other than my next blood draw on Monday isn't until the 22nd, and even then I will be just over 6w so I won't see anything probably right?!.....

Help me stop this cycle....I did put my thermometer away, that was good....

Anyway, I'm mobile so insert Ryan Reynolds here for listening to my morning rant.

I had my first ultrasound at five weeks six days. We saw a gestational sack, hey yolk sac, and a little baby. The tech thought she might have seen a flicker of a heartbeat but wasn't sure and didn't really investigate. I go back next week when I will be seven weeks five days to make sure the heartbeat is there.

I also poas every morning for a while. I did have one day where it looked a little bit later and yes I did freak. The other day I poas again just for fun even though I am sure hCG is high because I'm feeling like crap. Some Dr. googling showed me that when your hCG is really high the line is later because it tricks the test. Talk about a pgal freak out.

Glad you have something that is keeping you going but if I were you I would stop now! Good luck with the ultrasound!

The thing that really helped me was doing quite a few betas. If you need more reassurance I would ask for a few extras. Hang in there, GRM!

I plan on asking for a third beta draw the week of my appt. I want to make sure my numbers are high enough to see something, I am afraid of that....if I don't see anything on the u/s I would freak!

Put down the pee sticks! Remember, the die has been cast and it's out of everyone's hands.

Also, I had an ultrasound at 6w1d and saw a little heartbeat

I peed on a whole lotta sticks, i think i stopped once we saw a gestational sac. Eventually you'll go to every other day, and then when they start showing up within 2 seconds the fun of peeing with lessen ;D

I only have enough wondfos to make it to next Wednesday...I think I will try and go to every few days just so I can still get the ressurance, but make them last longer. I ahve 2 weeks until my first appt haha.

  I ran out of wondfo's and started using my OPk's. Yes Im slightly obssessed too!
