decent swing?

A friend loaned us her fisher price swing and my little girl (8 weeks) loves it but the motor went on it in the second week.  Of course now we want to buy a swing for her.  Does anyone have one that lasts?  We don't want to spend the money if it will just die like this one.  Thanks a million in advance

I have the Snuggamonkey swing, it's pretty awesome. The Snuggabunny swing is the same only bunnies.

dd is only about 4 weeks, but we have a comfy cove swing form Graco that I love. And Graco tends to be a reliable brand in my experience. No tme personally but I have a large family and I have relatives that have used Graco products for years.

When I was little my parents had a swing from Graco that lasted for all three of us.

I love this swing because it cradles her and it also reclines if she wants to go to sleep.

We have a REALLY old swing, actually from when my niece was a baby, and she is now 7. It's a Fischer Price Aquarium Take A Long swing, I haven't checked to see if they still make it, but we used it for our 2 year old, and are now using it for our 1 month old. It's been sat in by many toddlers, traveled many miles and gone through TONS of batteries, and still does great. I would totally recommend it

You are going to LOVE me! The snugabunny swing is only $99 right now! I am so jealous of that price. It has never ever been that low. I think it is usually like $130.

We got a snuggabunny swing for my baby shower - absolutely LOVE it. we use it every single day for 4 months now and its not showing any signs of wear.

Another vote for the monkey/bunny!

I really really like that it has the AC adapter for non-battery use. I just spent the last little bit putting mine together and now LO is passed out in his soundest not-skin-to-skin sleep I've seen so far this week
