C-sections

Brazilian after C section

Any waxing mama's? How long did you wait after c section to get waxed? Was it more painful than usual? did you avoid the incision?

Re: Brazilian after C section

  • I went right after my six week appointment when I got confirmation that the scar healed ok.  It wasn't any more painful than before, and in fact much better than when I was pregnant.

  • It was fine. Also six weeks after. I went all the way thru pregnancy getting one every four or five weeks. Pain was the same before and after c. My salon put a gel on my scar in case it was sensitive and it wasn't. Everything was fine.

  • 6 weeks and the only thing that hurt was it burned like fire over the incision.

  • 5 weeks, right before my pp check.  It was totally fine -- it felt like a normal waxing.  I had been doing Brazillians all through pregnancy though (about every 6 weeks) so it was about my normal time for one, so that may have been why it felt normal.  She waxed right over the incision -- no issues there either, but my incision healed pretty normally and never got infected.
