I got brazilans when I was pg with dd, but haven't this time. My vagina is sore all the time and I'm afraid it will hurt worse. I am going to have DH help me, I just haven't yet.
I got a brazillion at 20 and 26 weeks, but was on bed rest at 29 so couldn't get more after. My husband helped me once and I just drove by braille after that embarrassing ordeal. The waxing hurt like a mofo, but it was nice to not have deal with it myself. Later, I think my ladybits would have been too swollen and would have hurt almost unbearably. :

I have never been waxed. I was able to trim with a pair of scissors for most of my pregnancy. Once I couldn't I didn't care anymore lol. I wouldn't trust my husband down there lol!

I let my SO do it once and she was so terrified that it made me terrified. After that I went and bought one of those trimmers that is small with batteries and flew by touch with that. I am pretty sure it was patchy but it worked and it's really hard to cut yourself with those.
Plus I think it was like $11 so much cheaper and less painful than waxing.

I am not a waxer. Last time I had my husband help me and he did a pretty good job. I will definitely have him help again this time because I can barely reach any part of myself below the belly. I had to get a cervical ultrasound on Tuesday and the tech asked me if I could guide it in and I said.. sorry I can't reach.. It's kinda funny..
I've been getting waxed every 5-6 weeks from around 20 weeks onward and am hoping to get in one more round before delivering these two (I'm at 34 wks now). I wasn't going to let DH anywhere near me w/ a razor and I wasn't keen on shaving by braille. These days, I couldn't even reach anything anyway.
This little guy is a GEM. It's a trimmer and DH helps keep everything on the shortest setting, which is def short. Just don't take the top part off and think you can get an even closer trim - you will cut yourself!
I let it all go. No way was I going to ask DH to help (not that he would if I did) and it definitely wasn't safe taking a razor to an area I could barely reach, let alone see - lol.
We weren't having any action down there anyway and I couldn't have cared less what my Dr. thought (I'm sure she didn't devote a single thought to it anyway).

I did the trimmer thing for a bit until I caught sight of it in the mirror one day. It was like a balding piece of roadkill. went with the out of sight out of mind train of thought after that.
Although the worst was the six week appt. I swear with DD it wasn't a pants off check, just my c-sec scar. When they said undress I saw myself in the mirror and it was like...well sasquatch would be the best description. I was never a waxer but even that was embarassing.
If it helps someone once pointed out that unless it's unusually decorated chances are the dr won't give it a second thought.

LOL! I think that would be my situation if I keep trying on my own...
I'm still tempted to try, so I may order the trimmer in the link posted above.
