Reflux

Any reflux babies off their meds yet? DS had mild to moderate reflux when he was younger, but it doesn't seem to be bothering him as much now. He still spits up, but it's NBD to him. I know I need to call the pedi's office to find out about tapering off, but I thought I would see if anyone else has already started this.

We are and probably haven't taken any meds for about 2 months.  She still spits up but not nearly as much (usually later in the day) or seem upset about it.  We gradually pulled back the amount of each dosage, then the number of dosages themselves until we eliminated it all together.  She's a much, much happier baby now.

We are off the Prevacid 15 mg. it was was not planned. We stopped when she happened to get the stomach virus and she seemed better so it was technically cold turkey ( not that I advise that). But we are doing great. We even just started using regular formula not the added rice version. Good luck.

My LO is still on his. His reflux is still bad but nothing like it was in the beginning.
