Any solutions for itchy winter skin and scalp I heard this is common in pregnancy. It's pretty cold and dry here these days and my skin is driving me crazy... Anyone else have this problem. I am 27 weeks
I am using Burt's Bees for extreme dry skin as nothing else worked for me

I tried this ave I for dry skin cream it has oatmeal, Shea butter, and menthol? Great for the skin but I need a plan for the itchy scalp... Driving me nuts!!!
Eucerin works really well - the cream in the tub, not the squeeze lotion. It is very thick and a little greasy, though so I only use it at night.
This is EXACTLY what my doctor told me to buy. It has helped me SO MUCH! As for the itchy scalp....I have gone to washing my hair every other day (rather then every day) and that has helped a lot.
I use a cream, not a lotion on my skin, and I often pour apple cider vinegar over my scalp when I'm done shampooing it, and I leave it in. It has helped some of the itch. Just don't get it in your eyes!
Re: Itchy skin and scalp
One of my first pregnancy symptoms was itchy feet. Now even though the weather is more dry, I am not as itchy.

I wish I had an answer. My legs get so dry and itchy at night that it almost makes me want to cry because I can't get to sleep.
I'm going to try some of the lotion the other ladies suggested.

I try to only wash my hair every other day in the winter. And I use scalp benefits from aveda. I also barely use styling products.
I use calming cream by eucerin daily and aquaphor once or twice a week. And daily on my hands. My skin is happy these days!
