FTM: Babywearing, Moby vs. Woven

I have been looking at wraps and originally was planning to get a Moby because I liked the idea of it being so stretchy and snuggly. Now I've been looking at wovens because they are so versatile and can be used for a lot longer. The one I'm looking at now is the Storchenweige (sp?). It's a good price and available to order from Canadian websites (I'm in rural Canada). Has anyone used this wrap? It has good reviews online but I'm looking for more. Thanks!

I have not personally used a Storch but I have heard great things. I have a NatiBaby and I LOVE it. I am planning on using it from day 1 with the new baby. You're right, they're much more versatile and can be used A LOT longer and in a lot of different carries as opposed to the Mobys. (Mobys are great too, I have one and plan to use that as well, but again only for the first few months. Once baby hits 15 lbs the Moby isnt much use anymore)

Thanks ladies. I just found out that someone has bought a Moby for me for my shower, so it looks like I can have both! I didn't want to spend money on two wraps...now I can just buy the Storchen

I'm going to confuse you even more! What about a hybrid? Je Porte Mon bebe is stretchy BUT it's a special stretch so unlike the moby the JPMB can be used longer and safely to back wrap too. I've seen people with young toddlers in them, safely.
