Charlie just walked up to me with the bluray player remote in hand and said, "watch a movie?" When I went back into the living room he had already turned off the xbox (we were watching Netflix since our cable is out), turned on the bluray player, and picked out a movie. His favorite is Despicable Me, which just cracks me up.
What crazy stuff is your LO doing these days?
Re: Another edition of: When did they get so big?!
Cute! DS likes Despicable Me, but LOVES the Lorax!
DS does this too - Turns the TV on/off, turns the DVD player on, puts discs in, takes them out, presses Play, tells me what he wants to watch, tells me, "No! Change this! Watch something else!", lol. I even had him change the input from Cable to HDMI from the buttons on the side of the TV once when I couldn't find the remote.
This all happened while I was on maternity leave & he was watching so much TV. Thank goodness he's in DC now for most of the week, lol!
Hahaha! These kids crack me up!

Haha, so cute! They totally know their way around their homes, don't they?
While I was typing this, Miles walked up to me with his empty lunch bowl and said, "Ma, I need some mo macawoni, pwease. Tank you!"
Yesterday we went to Knott's Berry Farm and he went on 2 rides all by himself. You know, like the kiddy rides where I couldn't ride with him? The first time I said to the lady, "Now, I'm going to put him in (the airplane) but I don't know if he's going to sit, or stay." Well, he did! And smiled through the whole thing! Then he went on another ride by himself where he had to push and pull a lever to make his car go, and he saw the other kids doing it, so he figured it out!
I was so happy but so sad he isn't a BABY anymore!
We don't let J see how we use the remote because we don't want him learning the buttons just yet LOL On the rare occassion I give him his breakfast outside of his highchair he will take it to the couch, plop in a comfy spot, and grab the remote and try desperately to turn on his cartoons. He reminds me of his father when he does it lol
He's gotten really good about sharing but recently he has figured out if he hords 2 toys- 1 he wants and 1 he doesn't that when I ask him to share he can hand over the one he doesn't want and continue with the one he wants. So now we begin teaching him that sharing means the stuff we like too. Too smart for his own good.
Oooh that's one smart cookie!!

Where to start! I seem to have a full blown child on my hands.
When I tell him it's time for his nap he always says "Ok. Mama" and then he goes and gets his lovey monkey and troops up the stairs all by himself.
Cheekers, i'm jealous about the napping!
Ahahaha I love this!
