so frustrated right now.  i friend of mine that i grew up with but haven't seen in several years sent me an email (i work with her sister and she wanted to be the one to tell me, not her sister).  "on the first try we got lucky and conceived! i can tell you what the doctor gave me incase you want to try it ".  (i have not talked to her about my TTC troubles).  how freaking fabulous.  her husband works for my day care's client that we provide care for and she wants to come for  a tour.  shoot.me.now.  

i just wasn't prepared for that email to come today.  i haven't been angry in so long about someone else conceiving but i guess my day was today.  

just had to get it out!! thanks!

We've all had those days; sorry it sucks.  At least she put it in email so you had time to respond, instead of being caught face-to-face.  It's presumptuous for her offer her ttc solution.  But if she's a fertile & doesn't know your struggled there's no chance she even realizes its offensive.  Grab a glass of wine.  This will get better.

That sucks!  stupid fertile people :P  Like stupid rabbits.  I am so sorry that you have to endure this.

((HUGS))  I am sorry.  Sometimes people can be so abrasive.  Honestly three years ago, if you would have asked me about in vitro or insemination, I would have laughed. And that's what I would have called it, not IVF or IUI.   I was so ignorant.  I try to think of that when people are trying to be "helpful".  FX the February is our month!!!

Thanks guys, i knew i could count on ya'll to make me smile!  she did say how she was surprised at her age it was so easy (she'll be 38 in march).  the only smile i had on it was after doing the math on my fingers i found out why she had a shotgun wedding in september!  (she's due in May).

Go tell her to shove her pre-seed up her *SS! Ok, maybe don't do that, but that is so frustrating. Totally been there. My best friend since childhood, who is currently prego with #3, told me a few months ago "you know what I realized today? I will have 3 kids, and have only tried for a total of 3 months". AND she knows ALL my IF details. Yep, awesome.

Ugh so sorry! People who haven't dealt with IF really have NO clue. Not that knowing that makes the ignorant comments any easier to swallow..we will get there someday with a better understanding and appreciation of the road to motherhood, how challenging it is for so many women, and I truly believe we will be stronger and more sensitive to others in the end. That aside, SCREW IF. It still sucks!! Haha
