Echogenic bowel

I went in for my gender ultrasound and to check up on baby, it's a girl! But we also got some news that the bowels on the baby were brighter then normal and this is something called echogenic bowel... I'm a first time mom, and freaking out I already have anxiety as it is.. anyone else been through this and know ways to help calm and stay not stressed???? They said everything else looks good from what they could see .. baby was on her tummy the whole time! I did a couple blood tests and waiting is killing me..

i know it is easier said than done, but try to not panic before you get your further test results back (and even then). my neighbor and i were pregnant together with our second babies, and she was told that her little girl had this at their A/S, and her baby was born perfectly healthy and she is typically developing. good luck, and keep us posted

DS1 had this. I know the wait is stressful. I had a follow up ultrasound a few weeks later and it had resolved itself. I had a sch early on and the doctor he thinks he may have swallowed a little blood and that is what was making the bowel look brighter. I will be thinking of you and praying it's nothing to worry about.
