Target Red Debit Card

Can someone explain to me how this works?  I keep seeing the 5% back.  How does that work, do they take 5% off, is it a rewards thing?  I am just wondering.... TIA!

  • You get 5% off everything and on top of any other dicounts, no restrictions! And you get fee shipping online! Basically the item comes out to about what the tag says with tax an all that. Unless you are lucky enough to live in a state with no sales tax then it's less than the tag price!

  • I have one! I love it because I'm a Target addict.

  • I love love love my red card. I don't feel as guilty when I got every other day. Also, with the free shipping and w my amazon prime free shipping, I may actually never leave my house again. I'm sure I can have groceries delivered to my front door as well. Hehe I guess I'll also be saving gas money!

They take 5% off right when you swipe it at the store.  Its great.  Its not a rewards thing.

This. But it does take a few days to clear your bank acct.

  • II don't know if all targets do it but I know ours give a certain percentage back to a local school of your choice as well
  • Thanks everyone! I looked at it a few years ago and then never did it, but I couldn't remember why! Thanks for explaining it for me! I am kind of silly sometimes!
