I know this has been said before, but as I was in the shower I noticed my shampoo has added a label of "gluten free". Seriously sick of all the products jumping on the gluten free bandwagon that never ever had any form of gluten to begin with. I'm sorry for those with true sensitivities, really I am... but this irritates me so, because so many people are just following the "trend".
In other news... I would totally trade my glossy, thick, long pregnancy hair to not have the postpartum fall out.
I'm with you on this! And does it really matter if your shampoo has gluten anyway?? Pretty sure, last I checked, most people don't ingest their shampoo.
In other news - I can't wait for my hair to start falling out. I'm hoping all this dry, dead shiit will go away.

Exactly!
You just wait on the fallout. It takes me like 5 extra minutes in the shower rinsing all the tangled hair off my hands... it just keeps coming and coming and coming..
Oh, I have another one! I hate living in Florida. It effing sucks! Although I do love airboating and fishing and this is the prime place for it...I just hate sweating balls almost every day...even in the middle of January! UGH!
You have balls?....hehe

Not for long if she keeps sweating them off!
Remembering my angel baby, Ezekiel, 09/03/2011...you will forever be in my heart.

Actually, I'm not sure exactly why it matters, but it does. My stepmom just gave me a ton of haircare products because they have gluten and since she developed an allergy to gluten, she can't use them. I got a bunch of expensive hair sprays, gel, styling cream, and frizz control though.
My UO is I hate that when I use the bump on my kindle I can no reply or post anything only read. So annoying because I use my kindle more during the day for the wed then the laptop. Just easier to do when feeding or rocking.,
There is a way to fix this. Go into the web browser settings and enable flash and disable java. It should work then. I occasionally post from my kindle because then I can see siggys but I usually just use mobile because it's easier.
This is a follow up of a comment I made yesterday:
Naked men gross me out. Especially buff ones that look like they have a mangina above their nether regions. I would much rather go to a female strip club then ever step foot in a male strip club.

I think it's naive and stupid when people have an opinion about parenting who either a) aren't a parent or b) haven't gotten to that stage yet. Such as "If your toddler is a picky eater it's because you made them that way/let them be picky."
::snort:: Okay. You know sooo much with your 3 month old. I don't have opinions on things like that yet because I don't have a toddler. So I don't know how it is.
Also, people who say "well I was a nanny/babysitter/worked in a daycare/helped raise my siblings for XX years, so I KNOW.". No. You don't KNOW until you are a parent. I worked in a daycare, too. Shiit was not the same as raising my own kid.
My UO is thst i think that people who use phone/ipad apps for babies but feel very strongly about their LO's not watching TV are missing the point. They are basically the same thing.
I hate it when women talk about losing their baby weight at 4 or 6 weeks PP. And Weight Watchers can go fluck themselves. I just had a baby...my body isn't broken, it created a life. I'm tired of the pressure to lose weight. It doesn't help that it's January either, so the weight loss commercials are out in full force. I'd like to return to my pre-pregnancy weight as much as the next girl, but I don't like how there is so much pressure to do it so quickly.
There's this woman on fb (acquaintance) who constantly brags about her guns. She has a pink one with a matching holster and posts pics of her with it all the time. She treats it like a handbag and not a weapon.
I have no real issue with gun ownership, but my UO is that people like her who fetishize guns are what's wrong with the gun culture in America. People who think it's so damn cool to have one and talk about it like it's their child just sicken me.

Chicks get in free. Let's go Shaby!
So down!
Male strippers just look ridiculous to me. I saw one once and couldn't help but laugh the whole time. For my bachelorette party I went to the kind where the ladies take off their clothes and had a blast.
My UO is that I have read about so many women who feel empowered and whatnot over the fact that they had a baby (with or without drugs), and I don't get it. I don't feel more like a woman because I had a baby, and I don't feel robbed of a "proper" birthing experience because I had an emergency c-section.
There's this girl on my FB who has a 5mth old and just found out a few weeks ago that she's pregnant again, which I'm happy for her - but everyday her status is about how miserable she is having to look after her 5mth old and deal with the aches and pains of pregnancy. I'm sorry, but you planned this (it wasn't an unplanned pregnancy) please stop littering my feed with your complaining. Oh and on top of that she's getting married on July 3rd and her baby is due on June 30th, which she's also b!tching about.
Honestly I feel a bit bad for young moms. I had so, so much fun in my late teens / early 20s and wouldn't trade it for the world.
But you, probably feel bad for me being an old mom, so it works
(I would never judge someone just for being a young mom, I just can't imagine spending my early 20s as a mom)
I agree with this. Some girls are really good at and you can tell when it's meant for them, but I couldn't have imagined being a young mom. The decision I would have made and even the name I would have picked would be so different and not for the better.

I turned 22 right before my first was born so I was a fairly young mom. Looking back as a mother of 3 who is nearing 30, I sort of wish I had waited longer. Not because of the things I missed out on, but because I feel like I parent with more intent and purpose now. Back then I didn't know that I had options regarding my son's birth or his upbringing. I just did what my mom/doctors told me to do. I tended to his needs and played with him and taught him things (he's seriously brilliant so yay for me) but I didn't think much about the sort of parent I wanted to be. Now, 6 years and 2 more kids later, I wish I could rewind a little. I think so much about the kind of people I want my children to become and what I can do to steer them in those directions and I wish I hadn't waited 6 years to finally think about that sort of thing. Obviously this is all totally personal, I don't assume that all young parents are the same as I was. Though, I have noticed, just among the people I know, that younger parents tend to more or less do as they're told rather than doing their own research and advocating for what they really want.

Yes! Or their child who is obviously too young to read
A 1500 on your SAT doesn't make you a genius.
