Lets Talk Bag sleepers

For those of you who use bag sleepers for PJ's.....what do you dress LO in under bag sleepers?  Right now I'm dressing him in socks, a shortsleeve onsie, and then the fleece bag sleeper over it.  I'm always worried about him getting too warm, but don't want him to be cold.  We always have a constant 70 degrees in the house.  Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Re: Lets Talk Bag sleepers

  • Well Lucas was wearing a fleece footy pj and then a blanket sleep sack but they don't make them with arms long enough for him so he's getting a blanket now so his arms stay warm but our house goes to 58 at night. It's never 70 here in the winter. If it was that warm here he'd just be in pjs and that's it.

  • I do socks, lightweight cotton jammies, then fleece sleepsack. We keep our house about the same temp as you do. DD's room is the coldest in our house. On a really chilly night I may even add a onsie.
  • He wears fleece footie pjs under one of the heavy 4 layer Aden and Anais sacks and still wakes up cold. His room hovers around 69 or so.
  • Fleece footie pjs and a halo fleece sleep sack

  • I put him in fleece footie pj's and a fleece lined sleep sac. We turn the temp down to around 60
Nevermind me, I'm too distracted by my mini-carrots to think properly image

  • We do socks, long sleeved onsie in a fleece sleep sack.  It's 71 in our house.  I'm worried most about LO over heating.  We have only used the fleece sleep sack for a month, before that it was cotton with the same underneath.
