I was a patient of the docs that recently left Magee Women's care - so I asked for their contact info and called the new office.
Aparenlty, all but one are under a non-compete clause and cannot practice in Allegheny County. They have an office in Cranberry, McMurray and somewhere else.
So, if anyone wants to see them, they still can, but they cannot necessarily handle your delivery, unless you went to Bulter hospital, and one other one, I think in Washington County.
Basically this all sucks for them, but mostly for the patients. So now what? I have no doc. I don't want to go to the Magee office, as I feel they handled the whole thing terribly, and I do not want to deliver in Bulter - So I am forced to find a new doc - which sucks.
So the question part - can anyone recommend a doc in the North Hills area? I have no clue where to start!
Thanks in advance everyone!
Re: Got the scoop on the Women's Care Docs - and a question
I don't know how far you are from Sewickley, but I love premier women's health. They deliver at Sewickley Hospital (I don't know if you had your heart set on Magee..) They delivered my son and did a great job.

Just wanted to check in and see if anyone had any additional info about the Womancare docs and their new setup?
Thanks!
I didn't read all of these posts, but if you don't know, Dr. Kridgen can practice in Allegheny County & her office is next to West Penn. She will deliver all until they can all practice in Allegheny County (1 year) and will deliver @ West Penn.
