WW Wednesday

Hello all! It's time for WW Wednesday again!!! Please share any tips, recipes,
Scale victories and Non Scale Victories, as well as your Non Scale goal for next week

Start weight: 164

Last weeks weight: 164

This weeks weight: 162.6

Non Scale Victory: I have 2 lol.

I've actually had success eating a fruit or veggie w every meal. I know I'm eating a lot healthier.

A coworker of my H told H it looked like I lost 10lbs. Woo Hoo!

Non Scale goals for this week:

I bought a pedometer and I'm going to try to get 10,000 steps in per day since I'm having a hard time finding time to formally exercise.

Drink at least 100oz of water per day. Water will help your body flush out the by products of fat burning acids, etc and helps you to feel fuller longer

Tip for the week:

Try to pre package your food. Example:when you buy a food item in large bulk like grapes, divide it up and put the serving sizes in ziplock bags.

If the food item has points, write the point value of that serving on the bag

    This Weeks Weight: 165

    Non-Scale Victory: I got into my pre-pregnancy jeans...they were my old "fat" jeans, but I got in them and they look pretty good. I also got into the small scrubs at work. I've had to wear mediums since I was pregnant and when I got back after maternity leave I couldn't even pull the smalls past my knees. Yay!

    Non-Scale Goal: Drink more water!

    Starting weight: 237 post baby

    Last week's weight: 171.6 at least I think so since I can never really remember

    Today's weight: 169.6

    Scale victory: Crossing into the 160s!

    I did pretty well with my non scale goal of getting back into my diet but I definitely had some questionable days this week where I went way over.

    Non scale goal: Attempt some ab workouts to start dealing with my doughy belly.

    Non Scale Victory: A coworker asked if I'd lost another pound or two.  At the time, I didn't think I had. :-)  A number of people at the dance convention commented on how they only know I recently had a baby because she was with me, that I look exactly as I did before.


    Non Scale goals for this week: Continue with the water.  Grocery shop and cook real meals.

    I havent lost weight but my hips, waist, and neck are smaller. i dont know what thats all about.

  • JFresh - Since I was gone over the weekend and late last week, I went back and scrolled through the board and saw your thread about your WW points?   How are you getting along now?  Managing to eat your daily points? Still feel like it's waay too much?

    Non Scale Victory: I'm feeling pretty down on myself for this week.  I lost three lbs, but that's because I drank a sh!tton of water (which I know is great), but I'm also stressed to the max and did not eat anywhere near as well as I need to and drank way, way, way too much coffee.  I did the Jillian Michaels video once, than was so sore I couldn't get my ass back in gear to do anything else very active.  Plus J got the flu, so...  Yikes.  I need to stop making excuses, huh?
    Non Scale goals for this week: I'm going to stay with my father for two weeks to help him recover from open heart surgery, so the diet has to be good.  The goal is to help both him and me by cooking lots of healthy meals, no booze (detox! ;), and try to get some activity in (difficult in snowy upstate New  York, but I'm bringing Jillian, that b!tch).

    Don't be too hard on yourself.  You had a great week and almost all weeks could be better.   Yay for drinking lots of water!  Yaay for losing weight! 

    FX for a strong week for you coming up.

    Non Scale Victory: I swear I gained because I had some bad eating days but actually, I lost 2lbs! Woot!

    Now time to seriously get active. I can NOT be a fat MOH in May!!!

    Non scale victory: I was able to cut way back on alcohol intake and my pants arent so tight. 

    Non Scale Goal: I need to up my exercise! I am going to try and work out at least once a day. I have many fitness DVD's and a gym membership with a Kids Club for the baby. There is no excuse for my laziness.

    Also, going to try to have a fruit or veggie with every meal like Denise suggested. 

    Tip for the week: Add some cucumber and mint to your water. It makes it much more pleasant to drink :)

    I think I eat enough fruits and veggies throughout the day that I just don't use them all up for snacks and things like that. Yesterday I forgot my snacks at home so I had a granola bar (5 points) and some trail mix (another 6 points) while at work, and I came much closer to my 49 points. But I'm lower it to 40 points this week to see how things go. 

    I've always had the same problem too when i'm really working the plan.  I very rarely use my weekly points and can struggle to eat my daily.  One thing to keep in mind is that your body does need some good healthy fats, particularly while we're bfing, so I try to add in nuts or peanut butter or something with my fruit/veg.  Also drank 1% milk rather than skim, etc. 

    I'm struggling a little now since I'm not eating dairy at all.

    Nonscale victories: Thrilled I was able to stay within my points allotment. Eating more veggies fruits and leas processed stuff makes me better.

    Non Scale Victory: I wore some pants to work today that I hadn't been able to wear since before my pregnancy! Yay!

    Non Scale goals for this week: I'm going to get a kitchen scale to measure portions and drink more water.
