Is that possible?? I am 5'4'' and 113 lbs, I realize I have a little frame. But is it possible to be showing already? Its just a little pooch, but noticeable to me!
Are you showing? Yes, because you are pregnant, but it's not baby. It's bloat. Around 12ish weeks it will go away and then you'll have a little baby bump. Your uterus is still behind your pelvic bone.
Of course u can show already! Aslong as ur not over eating! Everyone is different my mum and my sisinlaw are very petite and they showed as early as 6weeks! I'm 6 weeks I just look bloated abit haha! Enjoy ur pregnancy xxx
Some women get pregnant and use it as an excuse to eat a lot. Then say they are showing. When it is really just the milkshakes and cheeseburgers "showing".
I've been showing for quite awhile!

Some people obviously have a different definition of 'showing', I don't consider bloat to be 'showing' and that's all it could be so early for even petite women. Baby at 6 weeks is only the size of a pea, it's impossible for their uteruses (uteri? Damn spelling! lol) to be even thinking of poking out from behind the pubic bone at 6 weeks. But I could definitely see extreme bloat really 'showing' on a petite pregnant women, you'd certainly notice it more on them than on someone like me who's already sporting more than a few extra unwanted pounds.

I hate how some people assume bloat is "eating too much". I've read that too much on these boards. I barely ate weeks 4-10 and was still super bloated. It's not just food bloat. It's hormones AND slower digestion, but that doesn't necessarily equal over-eating.
somepeople seem to be acting a bit judgemental. a lot of us are first time moms so its helpful for us if our questions are answered respectfully. be mindful of how you needed some help your first time being a mom. all the best everyone!
Dont be soooo judgemental ladies. First time moms are excited and they dont know. Cut them some slack! But it is def bloat. Im almost 14wks and just started feeling my uterus above my pubic bone.

They must let anyone be a midwife now.. Your embryo is barely large enough to see on an ultrasound at 4w pregnant there is no way you show that early.

Your midwife is apparently into telling people what they want to hear. It is possible to show bloating that early which is related to the pregnancy. However it is not "showing". The baby is just a tiny cluster of cells at this point.

I guess I don't understand why it bothers you and others so much if there are multiple boards about the same thing. No one is forcing you to read them or respond to them. I may be new here but I get that you read what pertains to you and skip what you find irrelevant or redundant. Did I miss the point somewhere?

Neither is your mid wife's then, apparently. For real though, I'd be looking for a new one.

Thank you for everyone that answered. I am a first time mom-to-be. I bought some books online and they haven't come yet. I figured it was just bloat but wanted to double check.
For all those out there that are writing rude and hurtful things. Find something more productive to do with your time. Some of us like knowing others opinions, it helps us throughout our pregnancy.
If you are writing on a forum just to put someone down, I think you need to re-asses your life and what you are doing with it.

It's probably bloat. I had/have a lot of that. You uterus is behind your bladder and pelvic bone still...

Don't feel bad... someone asked if I was pregnant today...CRAZY! I quickly told them no way!
I have a little frame as well, I am bloated though due to the pregnancy and fertility meds.
FI says the same thing.
