Sit ups
This may sound weird but do any of your ladies look like they are constantly trying to get up? After I swaddle my DD for the first couple minutes she ties over and over to sit herself up (it looks as if she is doing sit ups!) LOL She kinda grunts and fusses when she does this also. After a few minutes she will get too exhausted to do it anymore and will pass out. Does this sound like maybe she doesn't want to be swaddled anymore? She is 8 weeks old.. Thanks!

Re: Sit ups
DD does this. I'll sit her in her swing or bouncey seat and she'll start lifting up her head like she's trying to sit up.
So, now, as part of our tummy time exercises, I'll lay her on her back, let her grab my two fingers and slowly pull her up to a sitting position. Her head will fall back a little while she's coming up, but she can (sort of) support it once she's upright. I usually do it on the couch cushion or my legs so she won't hurt her head if she falls backwards. She loves it!
