So DH and I ordered all of our furniture from BRU the weekend after Christmas. We signed up for the rewards program and also signed up for the credit card so we would get 10% off and 4x the amount of rewards points. I went and logged in to the rewards program and all of our points are showing up but it is saying we have $0 rewards dollars despite earning 7,000+ points. DH called to speak to a customer service rep. about this and she is telling us that there is a black out period beginning after Christmas to the first of February where you will not receive rewards on any purchased made during this time. WTF!! We looked through the entire terms and conditions and it states this nowhere and the lady at the store said nothing to us about a black out period. I am pissed because that is $70 we should be getting back. Has anybody else heard of this?

I have. The same thing happened to me around the same time last year, which sucked because it was right around the time of my shower so nothing that my guests bought off the registery got counted towards my rewards. I also didn't recall being informed about it ahead of time either. I may have, but just didn't notice.
Don't know about how it works with their credit card, though.
