Okay we have decided on a name for baby boy.
drum roll please.............................
Paxton Alexander
So give it to me straight ladies... what do you think? Good, bad, indifferent? Will he get beaten up on the play ground or mocked endlessly in school because of the name?
Thanks!

I agree with this. But I don't think he will be teased by the other kids any more than Tiffany was. Some kids might even envy his stylish name in the way that I sometimes envied Amber and Krystle.

agree with PP.
Paxton is NMS and trendy.
Alexander is awesome name.
I Love Alexander, but it's a little too boring to me for a FN. I like it very much as a middle
I strongly prefer Pax over Paxton.
I don't think it's terrible, it's just NMS
Pax Alexander is better to me
This, although I have heard worse and I don't think he'll get beat up over it.
This was my thought exactly. Bill Paxton. And the name is unique, but not anything no one's ever heard of or can't spell. If you love it, go for it!

Well I don't think he is going to get bullied in that manner because of his name. Statistically that is not why children bully.
However I can't say I like Paxton. I really like Alexander though! Have you considered Alexander Paxton?
This. NMS.
I have only heard it on girls....which I don't like either.
Paxton sounds baby-ish, I can't imagine a 12 year old boy with this name. Makes me think of TamPax. Sorry, you said to be honest.
I'm not a fan of random surnames turned FNs, even though I can see the appeal of a prefix that means 'peace'.
Alexander is very nice.

Paxton is a lovely name with a great nickname (Pax). It's true that its popularity has skyrocketed since 2010, but it's still not in the top 200 in the US. I like that both the FN and MN have the x.
Paxton is bad. It reminds me of Tampax. There's nothing even remotely good about this name. It looks made-up, is trendy and it's hard to see a professional man with this name.
Alexander is fantastic though!
