LMAO Safe Haven Law

So, this woman dropped off her teenager under the safe haven law and decided she didn't want her anymore. I think this is hilarious! You know how many parents would love to wipe their hands of their teenagers? I hope they get this law passed ASAP. This is ridiculous.

Thank God my mom didn't know about this when my brother and I were teens!

    I think my mother would have done the same thing at one point or another.

    They have been having SO many problems with this thing in Nebraska... I do think 3days as a cut off is too short-- but 18 is WAY too old.

    I heard something about this on Dr.Phil last week.  My dad dropped me off at a women's shelter when I was 17, but he came back around and picked me up.  If something like this was legal here in WA state, he probably would've thought about leaving me there for good!!!

    It sounds funny, but it is actually kind of sad. Parents have been driving from out of state to get rid of their older kids and teenagers...it's become quite a problem. I hope they change the law soon!
