come in if you have a ring sling!

I was thinking of ordering a Maya wrap ring sling from Quirkybaby.com cuz they're 10 and I have 10 store credit which makes it "only" 57. But I'm wondering if DS is getting too big for it. I know it will be nice when we have another newborn, and I have a Boba 3g right now which I love but it would be nice to have a carrier that I don't have to get all buckled.

So anyway, do any of you ladies have one? How is it for this age?

ETA Stupid mobile and not letting me use symbols. They are 10 percent off and I have 10 dollars store credit making them 57 dollars

Re: come in if you have a ring sling!

  • I have a ring sling, but I made it (found the rings online). Honestly, I don't use it much anymore. It was great when DS would stay still, but he moves too much for the side hold. Not sure if the Maya wrap will allow you to throw LO on your back. That would be about the only way that would be comfortable for this age. GL!

  • Ooh good to know thanks! I can put DS on my back with the Boba so I don't need that in a ring sling. I don't even really know why I want it, except it's a good price haha

  • I have one, I used it all the time when DS was little, but not much anymore. He moves too much and just got too heavy for it. When I do use it now, I do a back carry.

  • I have one, and it's handy for quick trips when I need my hands free. It's also small enough to keep in the stroller or diaper bag to use in case of meltdown. Using it for any extended period of time makes my back hurt now, so I use my Ergo then. It'll be handy the next time around I'm sure.
