You can add spinach to any smoothie and you can't taste it. Put a bunch in!
DH makes tons of smoothies no recipe. Just whatever frozen fruit is in the freezer, almond milk, juice, spinach, etc. Greek yogurt is good for protein.
I make smoothies for my kids all the time - great snack! I usually put in a soy yogurt, whatever flavor I have around, a banana, and some frozen strawberries/blueberries. When fruit is getting too soft, I usually peel and freeze it for later, so I will add in cantaloupe, watermelon, banana, etc, whatever I had left in the freezer. It always tastes great, and we get extra yogurt goodness too!
I second the advice to add spinach, don't be scared that it will turn your smoothie a greenish gray color (don't drink it from a clear glass). I don't have a specific recipe. I pretty much half fill the blender with spinach and blend with a little soymilk. Then add in a banana and frozen fruit, strawberries usually (cost-co has the best deals on big bags). At this time of year, frozen is probably the best bet. I also add chia seeds to get some extra omegas and fiber. If you haven't eaten kale before, I'd go easy on that one in smoothies. It has great nutrition, but can taste bitter if you aren't used to it. I've also found it works well to stick it all in the blender and put it in the fridge before bed and it's thawed perfectly for breakfast.
I second adding spinach. Also, pinterest has a ton of smoothie recipes. If you have a juicer you can get some amazing juice fruit/veggie recipes as well.

Heres one I've used a lot:

1 c frozen mixed berries
1/2 c low fat plain yogurt
splash of skim milk

+/- 1/4 c water
