We took our DDs to Froyo world. Our younger DD has allergies to peanuts/tree nuts and dairy, soy and wheat. My DH carried her stood off to the side while my other DD and I made our ice cream. We then sat down and went to take off DDs jacket (she hadnt touched anything) and she had hives on her face and neck. My question is, is it possible for her to get hives because there were peanuts and other kinds of nuts in the ice cream shop?
Re: Peanut Allergy Question
Yes, unfortunately. Either from airborne particles, or did she touch the table or chairs? They could have trace amounts too. My dd had a reaction at a restaurant once though we'd brought everything for her. The doc thinks the likely culprit was the highchair, which probably rarely gets wiped up.
Lots a jungle out there, good luck
Absolutely.
My nephew breaks out if he's around eggs. He's even more allergic to nuts so he stays faaaaaaaaar away from those.
