Killian Michael was born Dec 11th, 2012 at 3:46 a.m. at 7lb, 4 oz and 19.5 inches long.

He's taken to breastfeeding like a champ and is already well over 8 lbs.

Big brother is still adjusting but loves to hold him & find other ways to help us around the house.

For New Years Killian did his first road trip completing a 3 1/2 hour car ride and 1 1/2 hour ferry ride to go see Grandma & Grandpa.

Motherhood is definitely not what I was expecting after hearing all the "horror" stories about how difficult it is, how painful breastfeeding & pumping can be, etc. etc. but so far its been way easier than I imagined. I still can't believe this tiny little person came out of me. Amazing.

    Congrats! I have to agree with what you said about motherhood... It's amazing how differently each person views this experience.

    Congrats! Yea, there are so many different new motherhood experiences that I am shocked at how well mine is going; not a walk in the park but not a nightmare either. I guess people just really like to share those horror stories, lol.
