Denton OB/GYN and Hospital?

Hello!

Does anyone have recommendations on OB/GYNs in Denton?  Also would appreciate any feedback on the Denton hospitals ... are either of them great places to deliver or would you recommend heading to Lewisville or Flower Mound instead?

Dr. Reddy is AWESOME!  I have a lot of random issues that she has helped me through (PCOS, infertility, miscarriage) and now I am pregnant and in my 3rd trimester.  She has been amazing through the whole process.  She offices in the professional building of the Denton Regional Hospital.  I highly recommend her.

I used a midwife so no OBGYN referrals.
But I also just delivered at Denton Regional in October and had a pleasant experience.

I did use Caring for Women though. They have three midwives. I met them all, but Amy Perilman was my MW. She is awesome! The practice also has three OBs.


FTR. When I took birthing classes, they told us they were about to update the whole labor and delivery unit starting the end of the year.

Denton Presby and Regional are both good hospitals. Presby is better for natural birth, if that's what you're looking for. Dr Cummings is great if you can get in with him.. Dr Bartos and Dr Dooley in that practice are great as well. They are at Presby. Dr Asis at Regional is very nice as well.

All of my various drs have told me never to go to Regional. I love my obgyn, dr Christina Dooley. She is great about respecting any birth plan you choose. Natural or otherwise. We are thinking if switching to Inana Birhing Center though so that I can eat and labor in water. Laboring in water and getting out for the birth is supposed to be great for he pain.

Dr. Bartos.  Also, With the Cummings, Dooley practice.  They are great.  We will deliver at Presby and taking the accompanying low cost birth class offered at Presby as well.

I go to Caring for Women and will deliver at Regional. Dr. Valenti is AMAZING.
