Mobile: morning routines for working moms

Moms who are back at work or STMs....

DS usually sleeps until anywhere between 430-8 and then back down again until around 9.   

I go back to work on the 7th...do I wake him, feed him, get him dressed if he isn't awake yet? or do I just load him up and let daycare do all that?? 

Silly question I know....

LO would scream if I woke her up to load her in the car without doing any of that.. guess it depends on the personality of your LO. If I were a daycare teacher though, I think I'd be peeved if a mom dropped off a screaming child that was hungry and needed changing every morning.

I go back the 2nd and LO will come with me since daycare is in my office building. We did a "dry run" this week with DH just coming for ride.

He woke at 530, I fed him and DH got up at 6 to put him back down while I pumped I EP. He showered, I showered, we both ate and did everything we needed to and gently woke LO at 745. I fed him again even though it was early but I wanted to get another feeding in and then we were out by 810.

My morning routine is crazy (or at least it feels like this frantic run through the house and out the door) - I wake DS at 6:30, if he hasn't already gotten up - BF and pump one side at the same time, then change him, then I run around the house get myself ready to go with DS on a boppy that gets carried from room to room. Sometimes we run late because one thing or another happens to slow us down, but so far it has worked. I'm really good at forgetting things, so I do a lot of packing the night before.
