lol.....I've been getting mixed answers about this. my dd is 16 months and gets constipated a couple of times a week. She drinks water and has fruit but still happens. We do stage 2 prunes and apples and sometimes it works and sometimes not.
Someone told me applesauce but then I looked it up and info said it is binding!!!!!!!!! Any experience with this.....TIA
Re: Motts Applesauce for constipation? yay or nay
Yea I think I remember the pediatrician saying it can be binding. I used to give mine pureed peas to make her poop. Now she poops like 5x per day, so I haven't had to try any tricks for a while.
Anyway, peas and green beans are high in fiber so they can help get things moving.

BRATT diet for diarrhea.... the A is applesauce
so if it helps bind up adults I would say it would do the same for kids, however fresh apples are different!
dried apricots work well for constipation!!!
My DS eats peas almost everyday and poops like a champ. I never knew it might be the peas, though!
