AW: STTN!!!

I had sworn off swaddles after the boys screamed about them and wrestled their arms out of them in the early days. I figured we'd just end up donating all the really nice Summer swaddles people bought us.

Then, on the 12/23-12/24 night, Brendan was super fussy and I was like "might as well try this thing one more time". I swaddled him, rocked him, and put him down in his RnP. Low and behold, the boy sleeps from 12:45am until 6:45am. This was especially awesome because 12/24 was my 29th birthday!

But at this point, I'm kind of convinced it was just a coincidence and not the product of the swaddle at all. Brendan is the better sleeper anyhow. So that brings me to last night. I told DH we should try changing them, swaddling them, and then feeding them at bedtime. We did and...presto! Brendan slept from 12:15am until 7:15am, and Malcolm slept from 12:15am until 6:15am.  I was floored.

Who knows if this will last, but it's nice to know that things get better and better the older they get.

That's great! Ours sleep much better in the swaddle as well.

Nice! My little guy woke up after an hour in his swaddle. Boo hoo. But I think he might be getting sick, he is stuffy. He had been doing well in his swaddle, oh well!
