2 month vaccine questions

LO's 2 month vaccines are TOMORROW! We are probably going to go with an alternative schedule, but for those that went with the CDC schedule - how many vaccines (actual shots) was it? Did you need tylenol afterwards? Any fever issues?

she was such a mush ball, just cuddled into us and slept. My dr. advised that some studies show Tyenol can reduce the effectiveness of the shots and to only give if LO truly needed it, not because we feel she needed it.

2 actual shots and one liquidy drops thingy that she ate. Terrible fever issues but I don't think it was due to the shots.

Three shots and one oraly.  They did the first two shots at the same time so there was only two screams of pain.  I won't lie, its hard, but they get over it pretty quick.  No tenderness for mine, really.  They slept pretty much the rest of the day.  They had slight fevers the next day and were pretty cranky so I gave one dose of Tylenol.  Make sure you get it with a dropper.  I accidentally bought the kind with the little cup and DH had to run out to get the right kind.

He got 3 and a liquid to swallow. He screamed bloody murder while we were there then fell asleep in the car. His temp got to 99.1 but didnt bother him enough to get Tylenol.

This minus the tenderness. she cried for about 5 minutes, ate and then slept a bunch that day. no fevers and I checked several times because I was paranoid.

We got 5 vaccines, in the form of 2 shots and one taken orally. She was kind of fussy afterwards, and wanted to be held and had a slight fever. We just gave her some Tylenol later that day and overnight. She was herself again in the morning, although the injection sites were sore to the touch for three or so days after.

Thanks for all the responses - I do have a follow up question. Anyone know which ones are combined? I know they are supposed to get HIB, Dtap, pc, rotavirus, and polio. Since it's only 3 shots - which of those first 4 are combined in one shot?

We ended up having to give her a dose of tylenol after hers last week.  She was crying and so upset, poor girl.

Three shots and one liquid(oral) The highest temp was 99.7 but he was very upset and not sleeping so we gave tylenol three times. He was up every two hours and only eating little bits. Massaging his legs(especially in the bath) helped his muscles.
