Why didn't I think of this before...

So I feel stupid. I should have thought of this before yesterday. We have a pack n play that has a bassinet feature. So much more like the crib then the RnP.So we set it up in our room last night. It wasn't perfect but not bad. She put herself to sleep at like 10. Slept 3 hrs...then ate. Slept 2 hrs. Then was up at 3,4 and 5. At 5 she ate and went back to sleep till 830. I will take it for the first try. Hopefully it goes a little better tonight. And hopefully its easier to get her in her crib once she gets used to sleeping with so much space.

DS slept in his Pack and Play last night for the first time. He slept for 5 hour from 10 to 3! Then we up every 1.5 hours the rest of the night till I gave in and put him back in the swing at 6 am when DH was leaving for work. Slept for 3 hours. I am so happy with the 5 hours I don't care I was up all night! Congrats on the sleep success !

I was so happy about 3 hrs since she never slept flat before. 5 hours is amazing! Congrats to you! Yeah i'm tried too but if it helps her sleep in her crib its well worth it. Better now then after I go back to work.

yes I'm trying to prevent this child from being like his sister who fights sleeping alone like I don't know what my sleep deprived brain isn't working. BTW 5 hours was a fluke. He is back to his 3 to 4 hours once a night and every 1.5 to 2 hours the rest of the night. Oh and I now need to go see why my DD is screaming hopefully she is still asleep who would have ever thought a mom would hope for nightmares :'[

I'm sorry. Hopefully he gets more used to sleeping longer soon. My DD did pretty good again last night. I;m just hoping it sticks.
